Facial Rejuvenation

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is an age-old and timeless holistic method of reducing the signs of ageing. It is often referred to as an “Acupuncture Facelift” or “Acupuncture Facial”, and it is far more than a cosmetic procedure.  It’s a rejuvenation and revitalisation process designed for the whole body.

The Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatment is based on the principles of Oriental Medicine and involves the insertion of hair thin sterilised disposable Acupuncture needles into symptom specific areas of the head, face, ears, neck, hands, trunk and legs.  Point selection is customised by Coreena after your consultation, to treat specific concerns, signs of ageing and health imbalances.  Many areas can be targeted simultaneously within your treatment.

Thousands of years ago the Chinese discovered that many Channels or Meridians of Blood and Energy either begin or end in the face, while others have internal branches that travel to the face from our whole body: hence the connection with how our health and wellbeing influences our facial appearance.  For optimum benefits to be derived, one must seek a practitioner with advanced training and certification in this specialty.

The outcome of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture may be apparent as early as the first treatment.

The effects of acupuncture are cumulative, so a course of treatment consists of twelve treatments administered once or twice a week.  Maintenance or “booster” sessions can also be administered as desired, usually once every 4 to 6 months.
